What would happen if the best college programs from the past decade put together all-star teams, drew upon their wealth of talent, and battled it out for College Ultimate supremacy?
The Big Muckamuck.
In the Chinook language, The Big Muckamuck means "big boss." We want to find out who is the the big boss — the best college program of the past decade.
This year at Potlatch we will have a once in a generation event. The best college Ultimate has to offer will descend on Redmond to showcase their talents and try to become The Big Muckamuck.
Both the Open and Women's Divisons will be represented by eight teams who will play over the first two days of the Potlatch festivities, July 2 and 3. Both nights will offer exciting showcase match-ups.
On Saturday in the Open Division, Carleton and Wisconsin will renew their rivalry, and Colorado and Brown will replay the 2005 College Championship Final.
In the Women's Division, powerhouse Stanford will take on stalwart Carleton, and regional rivals California - Santa Barbara and California - San Diego will square off.
On Sunday night dueling finals will see both the Open and Women's Division champions crowned.
We think this is going to be a great event for both the players and the fans. We hope you can come and see.
We are eternally grateful to Bunny, Janna, and Kong for partnering with us to put on this unique event. Thank you.
